A J WALTER AVIATION EXTENDS POWER-BY-THE-HOUR SUPPORT TO ITS FIRST AIRBUS CORPORATE JET A J Walter Aviation, the aircraft spares support specialist, has extended its successful power-by-the-hour service to support its first Airbus Corporate Jet (ACJ). This private customer has contracted AJW to support its initial aircraft over a two year period from delivery last month and plans to fly the aircraft in Europe, although it will also have the capability to fly between Europe and the US West Coast with additional fuel tanks. This agreement is a first for AJW in the corporate air travel sector and highlights the flexibility of its services in managing contracts with both major commercial airlines and smaller but prestigious operators who require around-the-clock 24/7 global support. It is an important benchmark for AJW as it pursues similar opportunities through its new AJW Aviation Management Services division, which will deliver complete project management for the private and corporate jet sector.
