DELTA AIRLINES AWARDS AJW AVIATION APPROVED SUPPLIER STATUS

A J Walter Aviation, the complete aircraft spares support specialist, is now an approved supplier of new and surplus parts for Delta Airlines. AJW successfully completed a required CASE 3A quality audit earlier this month and is now able to work directly with Delta Airlines and Delta TechOps.

Delta has been operating for over 75 years and Delta TechOps supports the airline and a range of other operators. They employ more than 8,500 technical operations staff. The maintenance facilities are located in Atlanta, Boston, Cincinnati, Los Angeles and Salt Lake City and they provide a variety of maintenance services including airframe maintenance, component maintenance, engine maintenance, line maintenance, support services and technical operations training.

This year AJW has successfully won approvals from over 20 airlines, airline engineering and OEM customers from across the globe and currently holds nearly 200 individual customer approvals.  AJW was also recently commended by the international certification agency Bureau Veritas during its successful renewal of its AS/EN 9120 & FAA certification for a further 3 years.

Matt Millbank, Regional VP Business Development at AJW commented on the successful approval, "Adding such a demanding operator as Delta to our customer base is testament to AJW's ability to deliver world class spares and repair management services.  Our business is always available 24/7 to handle AOG and critical requirements, ensuring that our customers receive their parts, on time, every time, to all locations"
