RAK Airways chooses AJW to deliver operational efficiencies for growth.

A J Walter Aviation, London, 20th September 2011:  A J Walter Aviation, the largest independent aircraft spares support provider, continues to develop its business in the Middle East with another service contract, this time with a national carrier of the UAE, RAK Airways. The airline has awarded AJW a three year contract to provide full power-by-the-hour and MBK lease support for its A320 fleet.

AJW already has comprehensive Boeing 737 stock sited in its regional facility in the Dubai Free Zone which supports daily spares requirements for local airlines.  This new contract will be managed out of its Middle-East office and will include the additional location in Dubai of extensive A320 inventory, which will mark a significant increase in AJW’s investment in the UAE.  RAK Airways will also benefit from AJW’s highly regarded 24/7 AOG service across its route network including Cairo, Jeddah, Doha, Calicut, Dhaka and Chittagong – all countries in which AJW has considerable operational experience.
