ROGER MAYNARD JOINS A J WALTER AVIATION as non executive director
London, June 2011: Aviation industry luminary, Roger Maynard, has joined A J Walter Aviation as a Non-Executive Director.
He brings a unique blend of international commercial business, Government and non-executive experience gained from his senior roles across British Airways, its partners and subsidiaries and latterly the International Airlines Group, in a career that has involved him in successfully managing many significant challenges, mergers and acquisitions on a global scale.
This appointment is one of several senior management roles that AJW has identified to strengthen and enhance its commercial and business capabilities. AJW's scale is such that it is poised for continued growth and will seek to maximise opportunities on an international scale. As the market for its spares supply and management solutions continues to grow significantly, with airlines seeking to streamline their MRO activities and reduce asset costs, Roger Maynard’s extensive experience will bring significant strategic expertise, intuition and grass-roots experience that will benefit AJW’s business ambitions.
